Fans were quick to call it an algorithm mistake and some advised the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman to open a private Instagram account to like such posts. This was the second controversial like for Kohli after a like for Avneet Kaur in the past.

In the past, Kohli had liked a picture of Avneet Kaur, a popular actor and influencer, in a mini skirt and lime green crop top. Soon, Kohli issued a clarification and blamed the Instagram algorithm for the registered interaction.
Fans were quick to blame the Instagram algorithm again. The fan page of Yuzvendra Chahal also commented on the photo of LizLaz and wrote “Algorithm”.
