Virat Kohli has been named as the ODI cricketer of the decade for 2010s in the 2021 edition of Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack.
Indian caotain is one of the five cricketers who have been named for each decase from 1971 to 2021. He was also the part of Indian World Cup winning side and later on he went to establish himself as the leading batsmen in all formats, especially in ODIs.
Virat Kohli has scored more than 11,000 runs in the last decade averaging over 60 runs with 42 centuries in ODI cricket.
Meanwhile, West Indies batting great Sir Viv Richards was named as ODI cricketer of the year for the 1970s, Kapil Dev for the 1980s, Sachin Tendulkar for the 1990s.
