West Indies reach Pakistan for cricket series amid high security

The West Indies cricket team have arrived in Pakistan for limited-overs series to give the Asian a cricket boost irrespective previous cancelled tours by other international teams.

Pakistan Cricket Board has shared pictures of West Indies players reaching at their home.

A 26-member party had flown to Karachi early Thursday before being escorted by heavy security to the team hotel, said a Pakistan cricket offcial.

The series comes three months after Blackcaps cancelled their tour in the eleventh hour of the first game that was also thre first tour to the country in 18 years shortly before the opening match was due to start following a security alert.

The two sides will play 3 T20Is and as many ODIs.

The three T20Is are on December 13, 14 and 16, while the ODIs will be on December 18, 20 and 22.
