So, it might possible that Virat Kohli could and bat up with Rohit Sharma and Rahul comes to bat at Number 3 for the Indian team. Rohit and Kohli batted superbly together in the last T20I match against England and Virat said that he will also open in the Indian Premier League for his Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rahul came back in form in the ODI series where he scored 62 runs in the first ODI and a hundred in second ODI. So chances of Rahul playing in the middle order at Number 3 are high.
