Virat Kohli: The Indian cricket team had to change their hotel from Taj Palace or ITC Maurya to Hotel Leela near Noida due to the G20 Summit and marriage season. Most five-star hotels in the capital were already booked, leading to the last-minute change in accommodation. The second Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi from February 17 to 21.

Virat Kohli spends quality time with family ahead of Delhi Test

While the Indian team is staying at Hotel Leela, Indian captain Virat Kohli decided to spend time with his family in Gurugram, where he grew up. The team management gave him permission to stay with his family, which he used to drive around Delhi. Before the second Test, Kohli joined head coach Rahul Dravid for special training sessions, as he seeks to improve his batting and fielding skills after a below-par performance in the Nagpur Test.

Delhi set to host first international Test match in four years

The Delhi Test marks Kohli's first international match in the National Capital in four years. His last match in Delhi was a One Day International in March 2019, and his last Test match came even earlier in December 2017. The Indian team has already taken the lead in the Border-Gavaskar series by 1-0 and will aim to continue their winning momentum in the first international Test match in Delhi since 2017.
