Norwegian star skier Fredrik Moeller was airlifted after suffering a horrifying high-speed crash during training ahead of the Milano-Cortina Games 2026.
Espen Graff, the Norwegian Alpine Team media contact, remarked Moeller is being treated in a Sondalo hospital.
Severe ACL Injury To Lindsey Vonn
Lindsey Vonn, the three-time Olympic medalist, who ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in a recent crash at the Alpine Ski World Cup, has remarked she wants to compete at the Winter Olympic Games 2026, saying she cannot let the chance to compete slip through her fingers.
Vonn crashed into a safety net while skiing in the downhill event. The American was airlifted to a hospital eventually for further evaluation.

The city of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo would be the primary sites for competitive events while three other mountain clusters besides Cortina would also be used for athletes to compete. The closing ceremony would be held on February 22 in Verona, 160 kilometres (100 miles) east of Milan.
