Yesterday, she tagged along with friends to the Narendra Modi Stadium to witness the enthralling battle between India and Australia. As the match concluded and Australia nabbed the trophy, Sara updated her Instagram story congratulating the winners and encouraging the Indian Cricket Team to continue looking forward with heads held high.
World Cup 2023: Sara Tendulkar opines on India’s loss and Australia’s win
19 November 2023, Sunday held one of the biggest events in Sports Entertainment history – the clash between India and Australia. With that, the exciting journey of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 came to an explosive conclusion. After a tremendous lossless run throughout the World Cup, Team India took a nasty loss against Australia in the finals. However, despite their loss on the field, they won many hearts. Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar, also expressed her honest opinion on Instagram.
While updating her Instagram Story, Sara wrote, “Congratulations to Australia on their sixth World Cup win. On the most important day of the biggest stage, they played better cricket. Hard luck Team India, just one bad day in an otherwise sterling tournament can be heartbreaking. I can imagine the agony of the players, fans, and well-wishers and what they must be going through. Losses are a part of the sport but let us remember that this unit gave their all for us throughout the tournament.”
Sara Tendulkar’s World Cup 2023 finale experience
Although Sara didn’t express anything about her experience exclusively, the sequence in her Instagram story spoke more than words ever could. It began with a coffee cup click from Starbucks which read ‘India is the best’. The next slide had a short clip in which the star was probably headed toward the stadium with a friend. Finally, in the later slides, we got to see from her point of view what was going on inside the stadium.
