WPL 2023: Nita Ambani, the owner of Mumbai Indians, joined the MI Women’s team to celebrate their achievement of reaching the final of the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL). On Friday, March 24, Mumbai Indians defeated UP Warriorz in the WPL 2023 Eliminator, which enabled them to advance to the final match. The Mumbai Indians will now face Delhi Capitals, who are currently at the top of the league standings, in the title match.

Nita Ambani choreographs the victory dance

Natalie Sciver played a key role in Mumbai Indians’ victory over UP Warriorz. She scored a half-century and also took a wicket to guide MI to a comfortable win. Additionally, Issy Wong made a remarkable contribution by taking a hat-trick, which helped the team secure the victory.

After the victory against UP Warriorz, Nita Ambani celebrated with the Mumbai Indians squad. During the post-match celebration, the team members cheered for the top performers individually, with the respective player coming to the center to acknowledge the applause. Natalie Sciver was the first to be called out and she came to the center followed by her teammates.

Later, Nita Ambani also said, “Okay girls, all the best…Play your brand of cricket that we always have played. We’re very very proud of all of you. Thank you so much for playing such good cricket throughout the tournament. Fantastic, all the best.” The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 26, at the Brabourne Stadium.
