New Zealand has won the toss and elected to bowl first. New Zealand has played 5 fast bowlers in the final including all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme.

The Day 1 of the World Test Championship was washed out and after the wash out there were speculations that India might change their 11 but it didn't happened.
