India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Saturday surprised everyone by announcing his engagement to choreographer and YouTuber Dhanashree Verma on Instagram.
The 30-year-old shared some adorable picture of him and Dhanashree from their Roka ceremony. Sharing the pictures, he captioned: "We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony."
Dhanashree also shared the photos from their roka ceremony on Instagram, with the same caption on her post.
As soon as Chahal shared the pictures, comment section got flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple.
Congratulations to you both god bless," Indian skipper Virat Kohli commented.
Hardik Pandya also wished the couple and wrote, "Congrats bro. Happy for both of you

Meanwhile, Chahal has been quite active on social media amid coronavirus pandemic. The cricketer attracted a lot of attention by sharing his quirky videos on now banned video sharing platfrom TikTok.
On the cricket front, Chahal is all set to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is scheduled to be held in UAE amid coronavirus outbreak. The league will take place from September 19 to November 10.
