Tendulkar shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing Sushila Meena's graceful bowling action in slow motion, and tagged Zaheer in his post.

Tendulkar and Zaheer Praise Young Bowler’s Graceful Action

“Smooth, effortless, and lovely to watch! Sushila Meena’s bowling action has shades of you, @ImZaheer. Do you see it too?” Tendulkar wrote, comparing her style to Zaheer’s. Zaheer responded warmly, agreeing with Tendulkar’s observation: “You’re spot on with that, and I couldn’t agree more. Her action is so smooth and impressive—she’s showing a lot of promise already!”

Sushila Meena from Rajasthan Impresses Cricket Legends

According to the Times of India, Sushila Meena hails from a village in Rajasthan, adding a heartening layer to the story of her talent being recognized by cricket legends.

 

Both Tendulkar and Zaheer will continue their involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the 2025 season. Tendulkar, a mentor for the Mumbai Indians since the team’s inception, remains a key figure in the franchise. Zaheer, who recently joined the Lucknow Super Giants as a mentor, is set to take on additional responsibilities as a bowling coach.

 

Zaheer’s IPL journey has been multifaceted, having played for three teams—Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Daredevils—before transitioning to a coaching role. He previously served as MI's director of cricket and head of global development between 2018 and 2022.

 

The duo’s appreciation for Sushila Meena highlights their continued passion for nurturing cricketing talent, even as they assume pivotal off-field roles in the IPL.
