25 Students from Jharkhand Government Schools Qualify NEET UG 2026, Anjali Mahto Tops with 99.79 Percentile

According to the Office of the Chief Minister, the achievement has been made under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, with the government focusing on strengthening public education and providing free coaching facilities to aspiring medical students.

Anjali Mahto Tops with 99.79 Percentile

Among the successful candidates, Anjali Mahto emerged as the top performer with an impressive 99.79 percentile in NEET UG 2026. Another notable achiever is Punam Kumari, the daughter of a labourer from Dhanbad, whose success has been highlighted as an example of how educational support can create opportunities for students from economically weaker backgrounds.

The state government said the improved performance of students from government schools reflects its continued investment in upgrading educational infrastructure, expanding access to quality learning, and providing equal opportunities through free coaching initiatives.
