AAP’s Anurag Dhanda Targets Congress After ₹12 Crore Cash Seized from Karnataka Leader’s House

Dhanda asserted that this shows the Aam Aadmi Party is the most honest political party in the country.

Anurag Dhanda: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and media spokesperson Anurag Dhanda has strongly criticized both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the wake of a recent cash recovery in Karnataka. His remarks come after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reportedly seized ₹12 crore in cash from the residence of Congress leader K.C. Virendra.

Taking to social media, Dhanda alleged that whenever raids are conducted on leaders belonging to Congress or BJP, large amounts of unaccounted cash are uncovered. He argued that both parties have a long history of corruption and are “deeply immersed” in it. The recent seizure in Karnataka, according to Dhanda, is yet another example of the corrupt practices associated with these traditional national parties.

Dhanda highlighted the record of the Aam Aadmi Party

In sharp contrast, Dhanda highlighted the record of the Aam Aadmi Party. He pointed out that despite multiple raids by central investigative agencies on several AAP leaders over the years, not a single rupee has ever been recovered. Dhanda claimed this demonstrates the transparency and honesty of AAP’s leadership and sets the party apart from others in the political landscape.

Reiterating his point, the AAP spokesperson said that while Congress and BJP leaders are repeatedly found in possession of crores of unaccounted cash during raids, AAP continues to stand clean, even under the scrutiny of rival parties and investigative bodies. He described AAP as “the most honest political party in the country,” arguing that its track record speaks for itself.

Dhanda’s remarks underline AAP’s ongoing attempt to position itself as a corruption-free alternative to the two dominant national parties in India’s political space.
