A tragic incident happened at Ahmedabad airport on June 12, Thursday, as a plane crashed near the airport during take-off. After the crash, an emergency team reached to the incident spot, including seven fire brigade trucks.
The aircraft was reported as an Air India Plane, but there is no official confirmation about the Air India plane. The incident created panic among the people in the area.

London Bound Flight
According to a News18 report, there were 242 passengers onboard, and the incident occurred around 1:47 pm. Black, thick smoke was visible after the crash, and in the aftermath, roads were closed in the area.
The flight was London-bound and crashed near Meghani Nagar. The smoke rose within the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport site.
