Aam Aadmi Party leader Anurag Dhanda has questioned the credibility of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) Sub-Inspector (SI) examination results, pointing to several unusual entries allegedly appearing in the list of successful candidates.
In a social media post, Dhanda shared screenshots and details that he claimed were from the CGPSC SI result list. He highlighted entries featuring names such as “SPACERANI,” “NEWS” and “TUFAIL,” along with what he described as unusual or incorrect dates of birth.
Anurag Dhanda Targets BJP-Ruled States
Taking a political swipe at BJP-ruled states, Dhanda alleged that the examination system had been turned into a “joke.” He questioned how such entries could appear in an official examination result and called for scrutiny of the process.
Among the examples cited in his post was a candidate entry showing a date of birth of April 30, 3000, which appears to be an obvious anomaly if accurately reproduced in the result data. Other entries highlighted by Dhanda also contained dates that he suggested warranted examination.
Questions Over CGPSC SI Result Data
The AAP leader specifically referred to the CGPSC SI result and raised questions over the authenticity or accuracy of the information appearing against certain candidates.
However, the social media post itself does not establish whether the unusual names or dates resulted from errors in the published result, data-entry mistakes, formatting issues or another technical problem. Independent verification from CGPSC or the relevant authorities would be required before drawing conclusions about the examination process.
Political Debate Over Recruitment Exams
The issue has added to the wider political debate over the transparency and reliability of competitive recruitment examinations in India. Opposition parties frequently raise concerns over examination administration, while governments and recruiting bodies are expected to ensure that candidate data and results are accurately published.
