Speaking to reporters, one of the aspirants expressed disappointment over the authorities' response. We have been protesting for the last 8 days," the protester stated, highlighting the group’s commitment to seeking a resolution through non-violent means.

The protestors, comprising students and job seekers, have been calling for transparency and fairness in recruitment examinations. Among their primary demands are timely examination schedules, fair evaluation processes, and measures to curb irregularities that they claim are affecting their future prospects.

The lathi-charge, which occurred when demonstrators attempted to intensify their agitation, resulted in injuries to several protestors and heightened tensions in the area. Authorities defended their actions, citing the need to prevent disruptions and maintain public order.

The incident has drawn widespread criticism from student organizations and civil rights groups, who condemned the use of force against peaceful demonstrators. Many have called for immediate dialogue between the aspirants and BPSC officials to address the issues raised.

The protest reflects growing frustration among job aspirants in Bihar, where competition for limited government positions remains intense. As the standoff continues, demands for accountability and justice grow louder, putting pressure on the BPSC and the state government to find a resolution.

The incident serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by aspirants in India’s competitive examination system, sparking discussions on the need for reforms to ensure fairness and efficiency.
