In a now-viral video, Delhi BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj was seen arriving at the Parliament to attend the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) meeting on the 'One Nation One Election' proposal. But what caught everyone’s attention was not just her attendance—it was the bag she was carrying, which had a bold political message written across it:

The phrase directly refers to the National Herald case, in which Congress leaders including Sonia and Rahul Gandhi have been accused of financial irregularities and alleged misuse of party funds to gain control over real estate assets. Swaraj’s silent statement—much like a walking slogan—has quickly become a political flashpoint and is now trending on social media.

Following Bansuri Swaraj’s video, netizens were quick to recall a similar visual protest made earlier by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. On March 18, 2024, Priyanka had walked into Parliament wearing a white kurta with the handwritten words:
emblazoned on the back—a silent yet loud message during the peak of the Gaza-Israel conflict.
Her action was widely criticized by BJP leaders at the time for allegedly pushing international agendas within India’s Parliament, with many calling it “tone-deaf” and “politically opportunistic.”
Now, Bansuri Swaraj’s ‘bag protest’ is being seen as a counter-response to that moment—a reminder of domestic corruption allegations that continue to dog the Congress party.
