Bengal man electrocuted while drying clothes on electric wire

In the Ekbalpore area of Kolkata, three people—all members of the same family—were killed when they came into touch with an electric wire. A man was using the electric cord to dry his clothes when the accident happened.

After receiving an electric shock, his wife and mother-in-law raced to assist him. Additionally, the two received electric shocks.

The mother and daughter were declared dead by medical staff as soon as the three were taken to a hospital. The patient was admitted for care, but he later died from his wounds.

The mother and daughter died there and there, while the guy died in a hospital from his wounds.

The electric current passed through a metal wire that was hinged on a wall as one Izhar Akhtar, the mother's son-in-law, was drying his wet clothes. He suffered grave injuries as a result. His admission to the Ekbalpore Nursing Home has been made.

Additionally electrocuted while attempting to save the man were a mother and daughter. They were taken to the SSKM Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, where their demise was formally announced.

Izhar Akhtar, Muntaha Begum, and Khairul Nessa were the named deceased.

The event happened early on Sunday in the Ekbalpore area of Kolkata. Following the incident, representatives of the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) Limited went to the accident scene to inspect the cable that had caused the accident.
