Bengaluru Water Crisis: The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewage Board (BWSSB) have declared that certain areas in Bengaluru will face a 24-hour water disruption starting Tuesday. This interruption is necessitated by emergency maintenance activities and the installation of Unaccounted For Water (UFW) bulk flow meters.

Disruption Schedule

The water supply will be impacted from 6 am on Tuesday until 6 am on Wednesday (February 27 to February 28). The shutdown will particularly affect Cauvery 4th stage 2nd Phase.

Advisory to Residents

Residents and gated communities receiving Cauvery water supply in the affected areas have been advised by BWSSB to store sufficient water to mitigate any inconvenience during the disruption.

Reason for Disruption

The shutdown is essential for carrying out emergency maintenance work and installing UFW bulk flow meters, ensuring the efficiency and integrity of the water supply system.

Residents are urged to plan accordingly and cooperate during this temporary water disruption period.
