Bhiwani Murder case: Rajasthan police confirms charred bodies are that of Junaid and Nasir

Bhiwani Murder case: The Bhiwani murder, which saw the killing of two Muslim men has caught the attention of the entire nation. In the latest, Rajasthan police have confirmed that the charred bodies recovered from a cow shelter in Jind, Haryana were of Junaid and Nasir. The two were reportedly abducted from their home in Bharatpur. Police have named five accused in the case.

Rajasthan police says working closely with Haryana Police

IG Bharatpur Guarav Srivastav has said that the Forensic Science Laboratory’s report and revealed that the burned bones and the blood stains which were recovered from SUV were confirmed to be of the Junaid and Nasir. He said that Rajasthan Police is working closely with Haryana Police to nab the accused.

Mobile services suspended in Nuh 

To avoid eruption of communal violence, Haryana government has suspended mobile internet and SMS services in Nuh district for three days. 

The restrictions “shall remain in force with effect from February 26 to February 28, 2023 (23:59 hrs),” according to an official order.

Five accused Srikant Pandit, Monu Manesar, Anil, Rinku Saini and Lokesh Singla were initially booked in the case. Later, police named four more compliance accused in the FIR. 

Meanwhile, a mahapanchayat was organised in Manesar village where Monu Manesar was declared innocent. They had also barred police from entering the village. Monu Manesar is currently on the run.
