Bihar Exit Poll 2025: State Headed For a Decisive One-Sided Victory! Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Chori’ Remark Fails to Convince Voters

Exit polls 2025 signal NDA’s dominant edge in Bihar as voters reject Rahul Gandhi’s ‘vote chori’ charge, paving the way for a decisive mandate.

Bihar’s Exit Poll 2025 indicates a significant, one-sided victory is shaping up, with the NDA ahead of the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar. Most exit polls suggest that the NDA will end up winning 150 to 165 of the 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly, while the Mahagathbandhan will end up in 65 and 80 seats.

This clearly suggests a tendency that the model of governance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the specific and specific messages of the BJP on infrastructure, women empowerment and welfare delivery have resonated with voters.

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Chori’ Remark Goes Nowhere

Throughout the campaign, Rahul Gandhi was insisting that the NDA was “voting to vote ” vote” as they were undermining government institutions. Clearly, those comments did not have much impact in the state.

Voters seem to have also been thinking and concentrating on the real issues – employment, law and order, development, rather than emotional justifications or finger-pointing politics. Political analysts also suggested that Gandhi’s comments may have also alienated neutral and undecided voters who were motivated towards hampering governance and instead wanted leaders who convey stability and predictability, not controversy.

Women and First-Time Voters Drive the Boat

The most eye-catching trend to emerge from the 2025 exit polls is the overwhelming presence of women and first-time voters. They have reported a high turnout rate of 60.40%. The women voters have been especially attuned towards the NDA due to its successful schemes — Ujjwala Yojana and Kanya Utthan Yojana, etc.

Political analysts believe the shift in women’s voting behaviour could prove to be the tipping point in securing the NDA’s dominance in rural constituencies across the board.

Opposition Disunity Hinders the Mahagathbandhan

The RJD-Congress-Left coalition entered the elections with hopeful ambitions, but the opposition was unable to keep its act together. With internal differences over leadership and seat-sharing arrangements, the coalition was unable to maintain an agenda with a consistent message. In many constituencies, there were overlapping campaign agendas that muddled the voter decision-making process and diluted the opposition’s message for the core appeal process.

On that note, while Tejashwi Yadav attempted to hand over the torch to energise the campaign, observers believe the lack of synchronised messaging with DC (the Congress) led to a lack of road roadmap that cost the opposition.

Bihar Prioritises Stability over Slogans

As the clock ticks down to the results, Bihar’s message is clear: this development over disruption. If the prediction is accurate, this could be one of the NDA’s widest results in years, securing its hold on the politics of the state.
