The registration process for Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will conclude on April 16, 2025. Conducted by the Home Guard Corps and Fire Services, Bihar, this recruitment drive aims to fill 15,000 Home Guard vacancies across 37 districts in the state. The recruitment excludes Arwal district, Police district Naugachhia, and Bagaha district. Interested candidates can apply through the official website at onlinebhg.bihar.gov.in. The application process began on March 27, 2025.

Eligibility, Age Limit, and Application Fee

Applicants must be permanent residents of Bihar. As of January 1, 2025, candidates—irrespective of gender—must be between 19 and 40 years of age. The minimum educational qualification required is the successful completion of the Higher Secondary (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination recognized by the Bihar State Government. The application fee is ₹200 for candidates from non-reserved, economically weaker sections, backward classes (including third gender), and extremely backward classes. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or women category, the application fee is ₹100. All payments must be made online.

After completing the registration, they need to log in to their account, fill out the application form, and pay the applicable fee. Once submitted, applicants should download the confirmation page and retain a hard copy for future reference.
