Bihar News: Education Minister’s Chandrashekher Controversial Remarks on Hindu Sacred Texts Spark Outrage and Debate

Bihar News: Professor Chandrashekher, the education minister for Bihar, has once more sparked controversy with a divisive comment regarding Madhubani’s Hindu sacred texts. During a speech at a college in Madhubani, the minister criticised the holy texts “Ramcharitmanas,” “Manusmriti,” and “Bunch of Thoughts,” saying, “There are many objectionable contents in Hindu religious books that I believe should be done away with.” People criticise me whenever I bring up those garbage contents, but when Brahmins like Mohan Bhagwat, who has spoken out against sacred scriptures, it is overlooked, he said.
