The Muzaffarpur–Hyderabad train will replace existing services and provide faster, more comfortable travel options for passengers traveling between North Bihar and Telangana. It will operate weekly, covering approximately 1,889 kilometers with modern facilities including sleeper and general unreserved coaches, pantry services, and bio-toilets.
The Darbhanga–Ajmer train will connect eastern Bihar with western Rajasthan
The Darbhanga–Ajmer train will connect eastern Bihar with western Rajasthan, improving accessibility and reducing travel time. Scheduled to operate weekly, it will cover around 1,305 kilometers and offer sleeper and general coaches, catering to both long-distance travelers and daily commuters.
Officials said these trains are part of the Indian Railways’ broader Amrit Bharat initiative, aimed at enhancing inter-state connectivity while providing safe, comfortable, and affordable travel options.
The launch of these services is expected to boost regional mobility, support economic activities, and provide a reliable transportation option for passengers, especially in underserved areas. With modern amenities and improved schedules, the Amrit Bharat Express trains aim to redefine long-distance train travel in India.
