Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the state’s deep connection to Lord Ram, being the maternal birthplace, and expressed the significance of this auspicious event.

Chhattisgarh’s Spiritual Connection

Chief Minister Sai highlighted the honor of Chhattisgarh as the maternal birthplace of Lord Ram’s grandparents, particularly in Chandkhuri. The upcoming consecration in Ayodhya on January 22 is seen as a momentous occasion for the state.

Festive Atmosphere and ‘Dry Day’ Declaration

The Chief Minister likened the enthusiasm on January 22 to Diwali, with homes illuminated by lamps. To mark this celebration, the Chhattisgarh government decided to observe a ‘dry day’ throughout the state. This decision aligns with the cultural and spiritual significance of the event.

Pran-Pratishtha Ceremony Details

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22. The week-long Vedic rituals, commencing on January 16, will lead to the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla. Renowned priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will conduct the main rituals, and a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will be organized, catering to thousands of devotees.

Preparations for Devotees and Security Measures

Ayodhya is gearing up for the grand consecration, with several tent cities being set up to accommodate the expected influx of devotees. The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust is making arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are implementing enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
