Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: The Congress party has unveiled its third list of candidates in advance of the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections. 49 candidates are on the list, including well-known figures like former deputy chief minister Laxman Savadi, who recently switched from the BJP to the Congress. A ticket has been provided to Savadi so that he can run from the Athani constituency.

John Richard Lobo has been handed a ticket for Mangaluru South

Ashok Kumar Rai, who has been chosen to run for the Puttur constituency and has sparked interest in the coastal region, is one of the other notable candidates on the list. John Richard Lobo has been handed a ticket for Mangaluru South, while Uday Kumar Shetty has been nominated for the Karkala constituency.

After G. Manjunath was chosen to represent the Kolar constituency, rumours regarding whether former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would also seek for office began to circulate. The daughter of Motamma, Nayana Jyoti Jawar, has been handed a ticket to run for office from the Mudigere constituency.
