Karnataka News: A 22-year-old Chennai student was discovered dead in the Talakona waterfall, which is close to Tirupati. Sumanth, a native of Mangaluru, Karnataka, was having a picnic with his friends at Talakona Waterfall.
On Friday, Sumanth requested that his buddies record a video of him jumping into Talakona Waterfall. But after a while, he was nowhere to be seen. His pals alerted the employees of the forest and a neighbouring police station out of concern for him. When a rescue team arrived, they discovered Sumanth's head was submerged, wedged between two boulders. On Saturday, his body was pulled from the pond.
Sumanth was an MSc student at Chennai's Rajiv Gandhi College. The body was found by the police, who then sent it for an autopsy. At Talakona Waterfall, there have been three such incidents in recent months.
