As tensions simmer across the subcontinent, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa alongside Chief Minister Rekha Gupta have issued a joint assurance to the citizens of Delhi, calling for calm and trust in the government’s preparedness. “There is absolutely no need for panic buying,” said Sirsa, adding that all essential commodities are well-stocked and supply chains remain unaffected.
He further assured that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta are closely monitoring the situation round-the-clock to ensure the safety and wellbeing of citizens. “Delhi was safe, Delhi is safe. India was safe, India is safe,” he stated, emphasizing that the Delhi Police and Disaster Management teams are fully equipped to handle any emergency that may arise.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, in coordination with central authorities, has been holding regular emergency reviews to ensure the capital remains secure and functional. She emphasized that all government departments, including the Delhi Disaster Management Authority and Police, are on high alert and ready for any eventuality.
Sirsa also highlighted the seamless cooperation between the Centre and the Delhi government, stating, “PM Narendra Modi and CM Rekha Gupta are working tirelessly, shoulder-to-shoulder, to keep Delhi safe.” Authorities have urged residents to rely only on official channels for information and to report any suspicious activity or misinformation immediately.
