Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Participates in 'National Commission for Women at Your Doorstep' Mega Public Hearing in Jasola

Rekha Gupta, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, participated in the ‘National Commission for Women at Your Doorstep’ mega public hearing held in the Jasola area of Delhi. The event witnessed a large turnout of women, including mothers and sisters, who openly shared their social, legal, and personal concerns.

 The initiative aims to provide a direct platform for women to voice their issues and ensure their participation in the decision-making process.

This five-day special public hearing camp by the NCW is being hailed as an inspiring step toward empowering women. Gupta reaffirmed that the Delhi government remains fully committed to women’s empowerment, justice, and the creation of a dignified society.

During the event, officials from the NCW attentively listened to grievances and immediately issued directives to concerned departments for speedy redressal of long-pending matters. Special cells and desks were set up to facilitate on-the-spot assistance and legal guidance for the complainants. The program also featured awareness sessions on women’s rights, legal protections, and support mechanisms available under both central and state schemes.
