Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Reviews Development Works in Shalimar Bagh, Launches Key Projects to Address Water and Sanitation Issues

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conducted an inspection of ongoing development projects across several areas of Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency, including G & JU Block Pitampura, CA Block Shalimar Bagh, Seva Basti, and U & V Block (Gate No. 7).

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conducted an inspection of ongoing development projects across several areas of Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency, including G & JU Block Pitampura, CA Block Shalimar Bagh, Seva Basti, and U & V Block (Gate No. 7). She also reviewed the ground realities to ensure that public grievances are being addressed effectively.

Major Projects Inaugurated

During the inspection, Rekha Gupta inaugurated several development initiatives. A major highlight was the commencement of water pipeline installation work across G & JU Block, Seva Basti, and U & V Block. This project aims to provide a permanent solution to water scarcity issues in all blocks of Shalimar Bagh.

In Seva Basti, focused efforts have been launched to improve living conditions for slum dwellers. Construction work for drainage systems, public toilets, paved pathways, and specially designated bathing facilities has begun. The cleaning of drainage channels is also being prioritized to ensure better hygiene in the area.

Focus on Timely and Quality Execution

At U & V Block, road construction projects were also inaugurated. Rekha Gupta directed officials to complete all works within stipulated timelines, maintaining high standards of quality and effectiveness. She emphasized that the ultimate goal is to ensure that the residents benefit from these developments as soon as possible.

The inspection and project launches are part of the broader #ViksitDelhi mission to uplift infrastructure and living standards across Delhi.
