Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Reviews Key Development Projects in Presence of Delhi LG V.K. Saxena

In the presence of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Shri V.K. Saxena, BJP MP Rekha Gupta conducted an extensive inspection of various development projects in the city. The inspection covered the Najafgarh Drain near Inderlok Metro Station, the historic Sheesh Mahal in Shalimar Bagh, and the Haiderpur Water Treatment Plant.

During the site visits, the progress of each project was reviewed in detail. Clear instructions were issued to the concerned officials to ensure that all works are completed within the stipulated timeline and with high quality standards, so that citizens can benefit at the earliest.

Rekha Gupta emphasized that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the double-engine BJP government is rapidly transforming Delhi into a capable and efficiently developed capital. 

At Sheesh Mahal, one of Delhi's lesser-known heritage sites, the MP stressed the importance of protecting and restoring historical structures. “Our rich cultural legacy must be preserved alongside development. Sheesh Mahal's restoration will offer both historical pride and tourism potential,” she noted, urging timely and careful conservation work.

The Haiderpur Water Treatment Plant visit focused on assessing water purification capacities and ensuring uninterrupted clean water supply to Delhiites. Officials presented updates on equipment upgrades and plant modernization. Gupta instructed that the project should be completed with zero compromise on quality, ensuring long-term utility for residents.

Addressing the media, Rekha Gupta reaffirmed that these efforts were part of the BJP's broader mission to build a cleaner, efficient, and future-ready Delhi. “Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and with the active cooperation of Delhi LG Shri V.K. Saxena, we are ensuring fast-paced and people-centric development. This is the essence of the double-engine government,” she said.

Also present during the inspections was MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal, who echoed similar sentiments, praising the synergy between central and local authorities for speeding up public welfare initiatives.

Rekha Gupta concluded by assuring residents that her office would continue monitoring project timelines and quality metrics, reaffirming the BJP's commitment to transparent governance and civic responsibility.
