Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Set to Revolutionise Commuting, Launch Expected in August

Meerut News: Sahibabad to Duhai's Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail station is open and operational. Sehri Jhandi, the commissioner for metro rail safety, has already been contacted on this. NCRTC officials have stated that the rapid rail will begin running in August.

Rapid Rail Service on 17 km Priority Stretch Set to Begin

After receiving approval from the Commissioner of Rail Safety, the Metro is ready to launch rapid rail on the 17 km long priority stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut line, according to NCRTC authorities. In these 17 km, it's possible that rapid train service may begin in August. Four stations have begun branding work for this. The track and station are both fully operational and ready for use. On a trial basis, five rapid rail coaches are running daily between Sahibabad and Duhai and Duhai and Sahibabad so that any flaws can be fixed quickly.

NCRTC Begins Branding Work for Rapid Rail Stations

According to NCRTC, passengers will get excellent service while traveling by rapid rail. Till now such service is not available in any service of Metro or Railways. Passengers will get the experience of high speed service. Now NCRTC has started branding work for rapid stations. Presently branding has been started for Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar Gu and Duhai Rapid stations.
