DSC Elevated Road Construction

At DSC, an elevated road is currently being constructed (Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera). It will be constructed from Sector-41 Agahpur to the Phase Two drain. After a seven-month pause, construction on the elevated road resumed in October of this year.

Suspension Due to Cost Disputes

Cost disputes led to the suspension of its operations. According to authority officials, work is currently moving quickly. Pier caps are currently being made for pillar numbers 60, 122, and 145. Throughout the entire track, about 12 pier caps remain.

Total Pier Caps Requirement

There are 145 to be made in total. There will be no more traffic jams between Bhangel and Salarpur once the elevated road is constructed. It is significant that on June 8, 2020, work on building this elevated road began. The elevated road project was scheduled to be finished by December 7, 2022, as per the contract. The elevated road will not be ready in a year or so under such circumstances.

Initial Loop Plan

Only two loops were planned when the elevated road project first got underway, but the Noida Authority later decided to build two more loops in response to requests from the residents of Seven X. Currently, a loop will also be created that leads to Sector-107 and Sector-49 Hanuman Murti.

Loop Construction Cost

To build them will cost approximately Rs 30 crore. A tender for creating the loop will be released shortly. The new cost, which is set at Rs 607 crore, will not be the same as this expenditure. Under these circumstances, the elevated road’s construction will set you back about Rs 637 crore.

Mutual Agreement on Additional Cost

The authority and Tunigam have mutually agreed upon an additional cost of Rs 139 crore. In addition, two loops will be built at a cost of Rs 30 crore. As of right now, an estimated Rs 468 crore will be needed to complete the elevated road. Due to an increase in the quantity of steel and an increase in the prices of other building materials, Setunigam was requesting an additional Rs 97 crore from the authority.

Revised Additional Funding Agreement

The authority and Setunigam have now agreed to give an additional Rs 42 crore instead of Rs 48 crore, on top of the Rs 97 crore already agreed upon. After the consent was reached, Noida Authority also gave Rs 15 crore in the months of October and November. A payment of approximately Rs 10 crore was also made last week, following which Sethunigam immediately got to work.
