CM Gupta expressed delight over the enthusiastic response from Delhi residents

CM Gupta expressed delight over the enthusiastic response from Delhi residents, stating that the people of the capital are eager to participate in this large-scale celebration of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

“This is the first occasion where I, along with my cabinet colleagues, all MPs, MLAs, and government officials, will jointly participate in a historic celebration of yoga,” she said.

She emphasized that the event is a tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspiring message, ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’, which reflects the global relevance of yoga in promoting holistic well-being.

Citizens Urged to Make Yoga a Lifestyle

Rekha Gupta urged all Delhiites to take part in the celebrations and incorporate yoga into their daily lives. She emphasized the role of yoga in building a healthy, prosperous, and culturally vibrant society.

“Let us come together to build a healthier, more prosperous, and culturally rich Delhi — a city that takes pride in its heritage and stands as a global model of modernity,” she said in her message to the public.

Preparations are underway across key landmarks in the capital, with arrangements for mass yoga sessions, guided practices, and awareness drives planned for June 21.
