‘Don’t Know How Many Times Aftab Tried To Kill Me,’ Audio Clip Reveals History Of Shraddha Walker Murder Case

Shraddha Walker Murder Case: The woman’s live-in partner, Aaftab Amin Poonawala, is charged with murdering Shraddha Walkar, 27, on Monday. The state’s special public prosecutor, Amit Prasad, asserted that the couple’s live-in relationship “had a violent past.” He accomplished this by playing a Shraddha Walkar audio clip.

Couple had scheduled an appointment with a psychologist

The audio tape from the Practo App, through which the couple had scheduled an appointment with a psychologist, was played by the prosecution during the arguments regarding the allegations. According to reports, Walkar was heard on the video saying,”whenever I start ranting about my anger, if he is somewhere around, anywhere in Vasai (near Mumbai), anywhere around me in this city, he will find me, he will hunt me down, he will try to kill me, that’s the problem. I don’t know (how) many times he tried to kill me, this is not the first time he tried to kill me. The way he grabbed my neck, I blacked out. I was unable to breathe for 30 seconds Thankfully I was able to defend myself by pulling his hair.”

Aaftab reportedly killed his live-in partner Shraddha

The charge sheet claims that on May 18, Poonawala reportedly killed his live-in partner Walkar and sawed her body into multiple parts, which he then kept at his home in Mehrauli, south Delhi, for almost three weeks. The remains were purportedly dispersed by him after that throughout Delhi; some have subsequently been found.

Vikas had hoped against all chances that his daughter was still alive

The plaintiff in the case, Vikas, said that because the recovered body parts were stored as evidence, he was unable to carry out his daughter’s final rites. Kushwaha made reference to Monday’s proceedings, in which a recording of Walkar was played in court, and said that Vikas began to tremble due to the emotional upheaval caused by hearing his daughter’s voice. Kushwaha claimed that when Vikas heard his daughter’s voice in the recording, he believed she was still alive. She claimed that Vikas had hoped against all chances that his daughter was still alive before DNA profile matching revealed that the retrieved remains belonged to her.
