Ghaziabad News: 49 Pregnant Women found HIV Positive..

Ghaziabad News: Over 49 expecting women of the city have been found HIV positive. The shocking part is that every year the rise in the number of HIV Positive women has been increasing. In 18000 tests in around 7 months in a year, around 49 women have been tested positive for HIV. In the last three years, over 101 HIV Positive women have given births in the Hospitals. The biggest challenge is faced by the doctors who perform surgeries on these women. ( As Reported by Tricity)

Pregnant Women were made to attend Counseling Sessions also

Under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, every month four Pregnant women have undergone Pre-Natal test. These women had also attended Counseling sessions about their diet and life style. 18,528 women have tested positive in the District Women hospital this year. The doctors try their best to perform safe deliveries even on women who are suffering from Hepatitis B and C.

This year 169 cases of Hepatitis B and 169 cases of Hepatitis C reported in the Hospitals.
