Ghaziabad News: The Energy Corporation is now taking complaints of metre abnormalities seriously. Daily surprise metre inspections have been requested by junior engineers assigned to sub-stations by the Energy Corporation’s Meerut headquarters. If a problem with the metre is discovered, it will be replaced right away.
Reports of Inaccurate Meters Flood Energy Corporation
Long-term complaints about inaccurate metres and high electricity readings were made to Energy Corporation’s helpline at number 1912. Customers reported that their homes’ installed metres are providing more readings than previously.
Meter Disturbances Across Ghaziabad
Daily complaints about disturbances in metres were coming from a variety of locations of Ghaziabad, including Govindpuram, Rajnagar, Kavinagar, Siddharth Vihar, and Kaila Bhatta. The managing director of Energy Corporation has told all of the junior engineers to perform unexpected checks of the metres that have been installed in their region after taking note of these complaints.
