Fire Breaks Out at Union Bank in Ghaziabad's Modinagar
Around 8:30 am on Wednesday, a large fire started at the Union Bank in Ghaziabad's Modinagar neighbourhood. The papers and other materials housed within the bank were burned to ashes as a result of the fire. Whether the notes burned in the fire or not is not yet known. Firefighters responded after learning of the event and put out the flames. The fire has not resulted in any fatalities. Short circuit is currently being cited as the cause of the fire.
Limited Documents Burned in Ghaziabad Bank Fire
Only a few documents were reportedly burned in the flames when the fire was put out. Since the bank was not open for business, they claimed there were no casualties. Chief fire officer Rahul Pal claimed that an electrical wire short caused the fire to start.
