Ghaziabad News: Yamuna Dam Breach Triggers Flooding in Haryana Villages, Rescue Efforts Underway

Ghaziabad News: Following the significant water flow from Haryana‘s Hathni Kund, the Yamuna river dam has collapsed close to the village of Loni in Allipur. As a result, the villages of Pachyra, Badarpur, Sungarpur, and Allipur experienced flooding. The affected village is Badarpur. Administrative staff members participate in rescue and relief efforts. Yamuna’s water level abruptly rose above the danger line. The water pressure was too great for the dam to endure.

Villagers Struggle to Stop Water from Breached Dam

Villagers from Badarpur and Allipur hurried to stop the flowing water from the breached dam. Earthen sacks were filled in an effort to halt the water, but the water continued to flow. People left their homes as a result of this. Some individuals scaled the roofs of their residences. By sunset, half of the water released into the Yamuna had crossed across to Loni, causing the water level to drop. In a submergence area close to the village of Badarpur, colonies have been erected. These colonies were submerged. Many homes have been partially submerged. Families in large numbers have been housed there. Similar to this, Allipur village’s residents’ lives have gotten busy as a result of the water swelling up. Shalvi Agarwal, Deputy District Magistrate, reported that the water has stopped. Rescue efforts are still ongoing. Additionally, animals have been rescued from the water. On Thursday, the water level can climb.

Paddy Fields Drown in Yamuna’s Waters, Farmers Struggle with Waterlogging

It has been planted to grow paddy. The paddy crop has begun to mature in certain areas. In the Yamuna’s waters, the crops had drowned. According to farmer Devendra Kumar, water logging caused tens of thousands of acres of crops to be destroyed. The farmers made an effort to block the administration’s water supply. Rainwater covered the roads in numerous locations on Wednesday. While some areas have already received enough rain to fill them.
