Fazilka: Good Governance Week is being observed across the state from December 19 to December 25 under which Fazilka District cleared its all pending complaints with in stipulated time on PGRS Portal and no complaint is pending beyond the prescribed time limit.
Complaints to be addressed timely
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal IAS has instructed the officials of all departments in this regard to ensure that complaints received on the PGRS portal should be resolved in time. She said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has the main objective that people should not get any delay in getting government services.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner said that if a complaint is mistakenly sent online by a complainant to any another department, then that complaint should be forwarded to the concerned department so that the complaint of the complainant can be resolved in time. She also said that the officials should check their portal on a daily priority basis and ensure to resolve the complaints received on the portal.
Complaint helpline number
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that those who cannot file their problems on online portal, they can also complain on helpline number 1100. Giving more information, she said that by filing a complaint on 1100 number, the concerned department will resolve it. She said that people should take maximum advantage of this service and get their government work done.
