Noida News: Residents of the area are thrilled that a club built on approximately 4.5 acres of land costing ₹5.34 crore has been made available to them, since they had long demanded the facility, according to NOida authority officials.

Road Repairs and Beautification

In addition, there will be repairs and beauty work done on the connecting road leading to the club. Moreover, a service road would be added to the 75-meter-wide road that connects SBI to Vedanta Hospital and on to the Sector 50 Metro station, according to these officials.

Moolchand Gupta, president, President, Federation of Noida Resident’s Welfare Association (FONRWA), said, “The club, built at a cost of around ₹5 crore, has been opened. Besides this, some interlocking tile laying works was proposed by residents and this will also be taken up in three blocks (C, D and E) along with repairs and covering of drains, for improvising sanitation.”

Leisure Club Amenities

In addition to having central air conditioning, the leisure club has other amenities, according to authorities from the Noida government. A party hall, restaurant, card room, gym, office, and garden area are among the amenities. “Work on covering open drains, repairing them and paving interlocking tiles in blocks C, D and E are to be done and these works will start soon,” said Gupta.

While locals will profit from the newly opened facility by being able to host cultural events and community programming at the club, other pressing civic issues have also been taken into consideration and will be handled shortly, according to Lokesh M, chief executive officer of the Noida authority.

Beautification of MP-3 Road

Moreover, authorities stated that 2.31 crore will be spent on beautifying MP-3 Road, which runs from Shashi Chowk to the Sector 44 U-turn at the Mahamaya overpass.

“We have met several times with local ministers and raised the issue of considering providing a club for residents and also apprised them of the other issues in our sector. With the club becoming operational, it will be very convenient for residents now as we will no longer have to look for other options to hold a dinner, or for organising a party or even for going to the gym,” said Anil Sharma, a resident of Sector 50.
