Responding to the claim, Dhanda alleged that individuals mentioned in the post were actually residents of Haryana and questioned how they were being described as Punjab youth. He suggested that the same individuals had previously been associated with political activities in Haryana and accused the Chief Minister of misrepresenting their background.
The AAP leader further argued that presenting participants from another state as local supporters could mislead the public about political support on the ground. He called for clarification regarding the identities and affiliations of those cited in the announcement.
The BJP has not issued a detailed public response to Dhanda’s remarks so far. Political observers say such exchanges are likely to intensify as parties step up outreach efforts and messaging campaigns in the run-up to upcoming elections, with both sides seeking to shape public perception and strengthen their support base.
