A 30-year-old teacher was stabbed to death inside a private school in Sikrauna, Faridabad, on Monday morning in an attack that has shaken the local community. Police say a masked man entered the school through the main gate between 9:30 am and 9:40 am, his face covered with a white cloth. After waiting inside for a short while, he reportedly asked for the teacher by name.

CCTV Footage Shows the Assault
According to Inspector Kewal Singh, SHO of the Sector-58 police station, the man dragged the teacher out as soon as she stepped out of her classroom and pulled out a knife. CCTV cameras on the campus captured the assault, showing the attacker striking her repeatedly, targeting her neck and chest. Colleagues who rushed over after hearing her screams were reportedly chased away before the attacker continued the assault.
School Owner Also Injured
As the situation escalated, the school’s principal, Dr Tejpal Sharma, arrived and attempted to intervene. He was also attacked and sustained stab injuries while trying to defend himself and the teacher.
Rushed to Hospital, Declared Dead
The critically injured teacher was rushed by staff to Al-Falah Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. She was reportedly the mother of two children. The attacker fled the scene before police arrived.
Manhunt Underway
Police and forensic teams have examined the crime scene and are reviewing CCTV footage from the school and surrounding areas to trace the assailant’s movements and identity, given his covered face. Investigators are also working to determine a motive and whether the attacker knew the victim personally. No arrests have been reported so far.
