Gurugram News-What’s New?

Every year, millions of vehicles on the popular Delhi-Jaipur route face troubles due to heavy congestion, leading to traffic jams. Once the Bilaspur flyover is completed and operational, traffic at the intersection would become smoother and faster. This would help vehicles move at a swift pace without facing any interruptions.

It would be of extreme help, especially during the rainy season when heavy traffic jams are a common sight at the Delhi-Jaipur route, leading to chaos and causing drivers to take hours to pass through.

Bilaspur Flyover Benefits

The Bilaspur flyover would make it easier for people to commute to about 108 villages around Bilaspur. Locals and drivers have been facing heavy inconvenience ever since the cut from Bilaspur Chowk to Tawdu was closed in 2010. With the flyover expected to get completed in July 2026, it would resolve much of the issues.

Presently, Bilaspur Chowk serves as an important junction point for passengers travelling to and from Rajasthan, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Vehicles head from the chowk to Mathura, Meerut, Kanpur, Neemrana, Jaipur, Faridabad, Palwal, Rohtak, Jhajjar and many other places. People traveling between Rajasthan and Punjab also pass through this chowk and the flyover’s inauguration would also cut down the travel time significantly.
