Haryana News: The Himachal Pradesh Police have booked Haryana BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal, also known as Jai Bhagwan, on charges of gang rape. The complaint, filed by a New Delhi resident, led to the registration of an FIR on December 13 at the Kasauli police station in Solan district.
Incident Allegedly Occurred in Kasauli
According to the FIR, the incident took place on July 3, 2023, at the Ros Common Hotel of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) in Kasauli. The complainant alleged that she was on a trip to Himachal Pradesh with her employer and a friend when she met the accused.
The FIR, registered under Sections 376D (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, claims the accused lured the complainant and her friend to their room, offering promises of opportunities in the entertainment industry and government positions.
Harassment and Threats
The complainant stated that the accused forcibly made them consume alcohol despite their refusal. She further alleged that the men threatened her and her friend, harassed her, and took turns raping her. The accused also reportedly clicked nude pictures and videos of the complainant and threatened to harm her if she disclosed the incident.
Accused Denies Allegations
Mohan Lal Badoli has refuted the charges, calling them “baseless.” Meanwhile, the complainant is seeking justice, requesting the deletion of her pictures and videos, and urging stern action against the accused.
The case has sparked significant attention, with investigations underway to verify the allegations and ensure justice.
