Haryana News: Haryana’s new Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, has pledged swift action to rectify discrepancies in the state’s ration card system. Assuring citizens of corrective measures, Saini addressed concerns raised by residents regarding wrongful exclusions from the ration card lists.

In his statement, Chief Minister Saini underscored the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries are rightfully included in the ration card scheme. He emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, promising inclusive actions to address any errors or irregularities in the distribution of essential food supplies.

Saini also warned against fraudulent practices, stating that stringent measures would be taken against those found involved in submitting false documents to unlawfully obtain benefits under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) scheme.

Their ration cards are set to be invalidated, with strict penalties to be imposed. Moreover, efforts will be made to recover compensatory amounts from officials responsible for erroneously removing eligible beneficiaries from the system.
