The much-awaited Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2025 is set to take place from February 7 to February 23 in Surajkund, Faridabad, Haryana. Organized annually, the fair is a grand showcase of traditional handicrafts, culture, and music, attracting artisans and performers from across the world. This year, the event will feature a special focus on BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation), highlighting cultural exchange among member nations. 

A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Handicrafts

The Surajkund Mela is known for its vibrant display of handicrafts, textiles, and artworks from different Indian states and international participants. The event provides a platform for artisans to present their unique craftsmanship, promoting indigenous art forms and heritage. The 2025 edition will continue this tradition, offering visitors a rich blend of cultural exhibits, handcrafted products, and culinary delights.

February 7 (Friday): Star performance by rapper and singer Parmish Verma

February 8 (Saturday): North Eastern Beats by Sunita Bhuyan & Band, Francis Hmuihmul & Maylula Band

February 9 (Sunday): A musical journey with Papon & Band

February 10 (Monday): A soulful Sufi night by A.R. Rahman’s KM Sufi Ensemble

February 11 (Tuesday): Punjabi music performance by Gurtaj

February 12 (Wednesday): Melodious evening with Vipul Mehta

February 13 (Thursday): Baiju Bawra (Nataka) and Veerangana Rani Durgavati (Dance Drama) by Madhya Pradesh, the theme state

February 14 (Friday): Laughter night with stand-up comedian Gaurav Gupta

February 15 (Saturday): Odisha Cultural Show and an interaction session with poet Dr. Irshad Kamil

February 16 (Sunday): BIMSTEC Rhythms: One Beat, Many Cultures

February 17 (Monday): A classical dance fusion, Samaagam, choreographed by Priya Venkataraman

February 18 (Tuesday): A magnificent fashion show featuring folk sensation Mame Khan

February 19-20: Special cultural showcases

February 21 (Friday): Grand cultural performances for the closing ceremony curated by Sanjay Sharma

Daily Highlights and Special Attractions

Every evening from 6:30 PM onwards, visitors can witness a grand Art & Culture Parade, including the breathtaking Jalwa-e-Haryana by Padma Shri awardee Mahavir Guddu. Additionally, a special Kavi Sammelan featuring Padma Shri Surender Sharma & Group will be held on February 9.
