Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are also likely to be the beneficiaries of rain god’s surprise.
The powerful presence of active weather systems may cause thunderstorms and rainfall in many regions. A low-pressure system is prevailing over the Bay of Bengal along with multiple upper-air circulations and troughs, causing western disturbances.

Mandi, Solan, Kullu, Bilaspur and Lahaul-Spiti are likely to stay cool throughout the afternoon. Thick and dense fog may be prevalent in some regions.
Punjab Weather Update
Phagwara, Amandip Singh, Nabha, Barnala and Mansa along with several areas in Abohar, Gurdaspur, Rajpura, Malerkotla, Khanna, Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, Mohali, SAS Nagar, Moga, Batala, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Faridkot and Firozpur are likely to experience chilling weather conditions with a little probability of morning or evening rain showers.

Jaisalmer, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota may receive light to moderate rainfall in isolated regions. Jivangarh, Bandia, Haridwar, Roorkee, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Jagjitpur, Mohanpur Mohammadpur, Natthanpur, Dhalwala, Rawli Mahdud, Bandia, Kashipur, Rishikesh, Manglaur, Kotdwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Fatehpur Range, Mukhani and Umru Khurd are likely to experience thick, dense fog and bone-chilling, cold waves throughout the day, especially during early morning and late night hours.
