Hemant Soren Government Invites Applications for Aviation Courses at Jharkhand Flying Institute

The training programmes are designed to prepare students for careers in the aviation industry through professional certificate and diploma courses.

The Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand Government has invited applications for certificate and diploma courses in the aviation sector through the Jharkhand Flying Institute, offering aspiring candidates an opportunity to build careers as air hostesses, stewards, and ground crew members.

According to the Office of the Chief Minister, the courses are open to candidates who have completed 10+2. The training programmes are designed to prepare students for careers in the aviation industry through professional certificate and diploma courses.

For the Ground Crew/Handler programme, applicants must be between 18 and 27 years of age. The institute has stated that there is no height requirement, while candidates should not have visible tattoos, body art, or scars when in uniform.

The training will be conducted at the State Hangar, Birsa Munda Airport Road, Ranchi

For the Air Hostess/Steward programme, candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream and fall within the 18 to 27 years age group. The institute has prescribed a minimum height of 157 cm for female candidates and 170 cm for male candidates, along with the requirement of no visible tattoos, body art, or scars while in uniform.

The training will be conducted at the State Hangar, Birsa Munda Airport Road, Ranchi. Interested candidates can download the application form and submit it through the institute’s official website. The government has encouraged eligible youth to apply and explore career opportunities in the aviation sector.
