Hemant Soren Govt Facilitates Return of Raja Kumar Verma’s Mortal Remains From Vietnam

Hemant Soren: The mortal remains of Raja Kumar Verma, who died in a road accident in Vietnam, have reached Kolkata following efforts by the Embassy of India in Hanoi and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The development was shared by the Office of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, which said that the concerned authorities worked to facilitate the return of Verma’s mortal remains to India. His body was brought to Kolkata after coordination between Indian diplomatic officials and the Ministry of External Affairs.

Following the arrival in Kolkata, arrangements have been made to transport the mortal remains to Ranchi, where Verma’s family resides. The district administration has provided an ambulance for the journey from Kolkata to Ranchi.

The state administration is assisting the family in bringing the mortal remains home and completing the necessary arrangements following his death in the road accident in Vietnam.

The incident has left Verma’s family and relatives grieving as they await his return to Jharkhand. The administrative support is aimed at ensuring that the mortal remains reach the family without further delay.

The efforts of the Indian Embassy in Hanoi and the Ministry of External Affairs played a key role in facilitating the repatriation process. Such coordination is particularly important in cases involving the death of Indian citizens abroad, as several diplomatic and logistical procedures are required to bring mortal remains back to the country.
